About the role

Autronica now has opportunities for Proposal Engineer, Service Contracts (Maritime) to join our organization in Copenhagen, Denmark.

As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a key role in managing service contracts in Maritime and other viable markets, supporting the Sales team by preparing technical and commercial proposals for service contracts, focusing on Fire and Gas detection systems. You will manage customer relationships and contribute to marketing and sales strategies. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to deliver compliant and cost-effective solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as aProposal Engineerwill be:

  • Provide global technical and commercial bid support and act as liaison between Sales, Projects, Service, and Technology on customer bids.
  • Manage and develop relationships with new and existing customers as well as End Users and Ship Management.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical sales proposals, as well as handle tender processes and cost estimations.
  • Develop marketing materials, proposals, presentations, and sales documents and deliver sales presentations, participate in sales activities like seminars and exhibitions.
  • Develop and build pipeline with global opportunities together with the sales team.
  • Monitor and expand the customer base.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and requirements.

Qualifications

You demonstrate a customer-oriented attitude and have a good commercial acumen. You can work independently, but can easily cooperate with others, are willing to share knowledge, experience, information. In addition, you can adjust fast to changing situations and own the responsibility for the results. If this is you, get in touch

  • Education within technical field combined with experience from similar roles.
  • Previous experience in sales is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, Sales force, ERP system JD Edwards is an advantage.
  • Experience in Fire Safety Industry and/or Maritime market advantageous.
  • Technical mindset and analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Ability to travel globally.
