As an Institutional Funds Service Manager, you will be an integral part of Danske Bank Asset Management Operations. Our team, Implementations, Oversight, and Institutional Funds, is responsible for overseeing bespoke fund solutions tailored for institutional clients, anchored in Danske Invest Management A/S (DIMA). We take charge of all operational aspects related to these services.
We operate within a "Global Teams" framework, collaborating with colleagues across Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, and Norway. While the role is based in Denmark, we are committed to cultivating a culture of empowerment, open communication, and robust collaboration with stakeholders. The ability to build trust and facilitate open, inclusive dialogue is essential.
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with your team to assume operational ownership for bespoke solutions delegated to Asset Management Operations by Danske Invest. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and refining investment guidelines
- Leading IMA negotiations with external managers
- Contributing strategically to the development of the business area
- Applying deep investment knowledge
- Ensuring compliance with UCITS and AIF legislation
- Providing professional daily client servicing and fund maintenance
- Conducting quarterly client meetings in person
- Engaging in client pitches with AM Sales, presenting operational solutions and timelines
- Assessing clients' ESG preferences
This role is characterised by its diversity and the need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.

Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with substantial experience in the asset management or banking industry, either in a similar or adjacent role, who are eager to explore new opportunities. A comprehensive understanding of the funds or asset management industry, coupled with a strong interest in asset management, is highly desirable.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A client-centric approach
- The ability to organise diverse tasks into a coherent workflow
- Highly effective communication skills, with fluency in Danish, both verbal and written (mandatory)
- A keen interest in process improvement and optimisation
- Great interpersonal skills
- Negotiation skills (advantageous)
As an Institutional Funds Service Manager, you will be expected to engage clients effectively, bridging their needs with our service offerings. Trustworthiness, active listening, and expertise are critical attributes.
