PROJECT COORDINATOR WITH FOCUS ON YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP & EMPLOYABILITY IN JORDAN
We are looking for a dynamic colleague with technical expertise towards strengthening youth entrepreneurship opportunities and skills. If you are motivated by GAME's strive for equal opportunities for all children and youth, then you might be the one.

As part of a consortium, GAME has launched a multi-year program in the MENA region aiming at strengthening youth inclusion and employability. You will be coordinating and facilitating GAME's entrepreneurship activities and approaches in the field of youth entrepreneurship in Jordan. You will be part of GAME's Country Office in Amman, Jordan.

The position is open to Jordanian nationals and foreigners and will be based in Amman.

ABOUT THE POSITION
In this new position in GAME, you will:

  1. Coordinate and provide technical expertise on the developments of GAME's entrepreneurship approaches and methods within the frame of Street Sports and Culture.
  2. Build strong and trustful relationships with GAME's local implementing partners and with consortium partners.
  3. Closely collaborate with project partners around project implementation, strategic development and the achievement of targets/milestones.
  4. Provide program management (Detail oriented and systematic).
  5. Use project management tools (e.g. Project Plans).
  6. Understand and use GAME's methods.
  7. Spearhead the organizational approach to engaging youth in entrepreneurship training, incubation and support with the development of relevant training curriculum.
  8. Coordinate Event Management, including planning and evaluating relevant events for youth.
  9. Align with other relevant stakeholders within entrepreneurship and financing of start-ups.
  10. Provide program oversight incl. leading processes around midterm and final narrative reporting requirements.
  11. Contribute to the organization realization of its ambitious internationalization goals in order to scale the impact.

WE EXPECT YOU HAVE

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant projects, organizations, or fields.

• Experience working on youth related employability issues in the region, and a deep understanding of the barriers and challenges faced by youth in accessing and securing (self-) employment, and ideally contextual knowledge of Jordan.

• Experience within youth entrepreneurship programs, additionally within incubation programs or initiatives accessing external financing is an advantage.

• Experience working with civil society, local authorities, private sector and other relevant stakeholders on entrepreneurship among youth, including youth from vulnerable backgrounds.

• Successful experience in program development and building relationships with various stakeholders.

• Experience in coordination of project design and implementation.

• Relevant degree or other relevant education.

• Fluency in English and Arabic.

• Understanding of the Jordanian culture and context (for non-Jordanians).

WORKPLACE
GAME Jordan Country Office, Amman.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE
Full-time contract, with health insurance and social security coverage. Contracts are for 12 months and renewed based on your performance.
