Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Ramboll Group AS Full time
LEAD TRANSFORMATION CONSULTANT TO DRIVE & DELIVER GLOBAL STRATEGIC PROJECTS (MATERNITY COVER – 12 MONTHS)

Are you passionate about transforming strategic insights into meaningful organizational change? Are you looking for an opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, global workplace?

If you see yourself in this description, we have the ideal role for you. Join us as a Lead Transformation Consultant in Group Business Transformation, where we are in charge of delivering transformation in the organisation through a close link with our global strategy and in collaboration with business unit partners. In this role, you will be playing a pivotal role in closing the gap towards a sustainable future.

This is a 12-month maternity cover position with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Your new role

As a Lead Transformation Consultant, you will be leading diverse teams and executing strategic projects across Ramboll globally. You will get consistent exposure to senior stakeholders & management while working to transform and improve our business from within.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Direct and deliver high-impact global strategic projects that enhance our operational platform. This involves articulating the project scope, developing, and adhering to plans, engaging, and influencing stakeholders, challenging solutions, and facilitating efficient execution.
  • Supporting project owners across functions, business units and executive management to maximize results by applying core "consulting skills" in strategic problem structuring, project management, and communication.
  • Exercise effective and proactive stakeholder management, ensuring alignment of expectations and fostering collaborative relationships to support transformation objectives.
  • Champion the change management process and ensure delivery of benefits, working autonomously or in tandem with change managers across functions to ensure success.
  • Designing, setting up, and running PMOs delivering on large-scale transformations.
  • Leading workstreams within programs or enterprise-level portfolios and executing on agreed scope.
  • Contribute to the development of methodology for transformation projects, including training and mentoring talents within the global function and in the business units.

Your new team & international opportunities

You will be part of Group Business Transformation, which is anchored in Ramboll's Executive Office Function. We are responsible for key strategic priorities such as organisational redesign, internal transformations, strategy development and implementation, investments, business development (organic and M&A-driven), executive agenda support and priority ad-hoc tasks that are top of mind of the Executive Management of the Group. The Group Business Transformation team currently consists of 18 high-performing individuals well-balanced across project management, change management and process excellence capabilities.

About you

From the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company. For this role, we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success:

  • Proven track record with 3-5 years+ experience in strategy or business transformation, ideally within a management consultancy or a comparable role in a large, international corporation.
  • Hold a master's degree in business administration, strategy, leadership, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to break down complexity and communicate it to executive leaders and a large organization including structuring documents and quantitative analysis turning them into convincing storylines and presentations for the executive level.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems.
  • Strong people skills and experience with leading project teams and engaging senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines: you work structured, know how to plan your own time, delivery and when/how to reach out for support.
  • A 'can do'-attitude to ensure things are acted upon in a fast-paced environment.
  • A global mindset and excellent English communication skills.

To excel in this role, your personal attributes are as important as your professional skills. You should possess exceptional interpersonal abilities that enable you to establish trusting relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with ease. A genuine curiosity and a strong capacity for self-management will serve you well, as will a delivery-focused mindset that ensures you not only reach but also effectively cross the finish line with your projects.

What we can offer you

  • Flexible work environment.
  • Investment in your development.
  • Leaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles.
  • Be valued for the unique person you are.
  • Never be short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects.
  • The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company.
  • You will become part of a strong team that works closely with the senior management across Ramboll to ensure Operational Excellence in all we do.
  • Work at the heart of sustainable change.
