Subaio is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to collaborate directly with some of Europe’s top banks. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a vital part in the success of Subaio, leading the charge in bringing their products to market.

Your new company

Subaio is a Danish FinTech company growing rapidly globally with a technology that provides simple solutions to complex financial questions. Their clients are banks that wish to offer their customers a new valuable service that enables them to make smarter choices through banks’ apps. Your new role

Your responsibilities will span understanding and addressing customers’ pre-sales requirements, expediting the onboarding process for new customers, and laying the groundwork for long-term scaling. Working closely with Sales and Product teams, you’ll report directly to their VP of Product. Your responsibilities will also include:

  1. Delivering an exceptional pre-sales customer experience.
  2. Providing technical expertise throughout the pre-sales process, clarifying the value proposition as well as technical specifications, and addressing product-related queries.
  3. Demonstrating how Subaio’s solutions align with customers’ business needs and deliver value, showcasing demos, scoping use cases, and conducting proof of concepts.
  4. Acting as the point of contact for product and technical questions, explaining standardized materials, and routing complex requirements to the appropriate channels.
  5. Creating and maintaining documentation, guides, and FAQs related to common pre-sales inquiries and requirements.
  6. Encouraging customer advocacy and representing the customer’s voice within internal teams, gathering feedback, identifying trends, and integrating insights into product planning.
  7. Collaborating closely with Sales and Product teams to ensure a seamless pre-sales experience.

What you will need to be a success

  1. A minimum of four years of experience in a Sales Engineer (or similar) role, focusing on managing relationships with large, complex organizations, preferably within the realm of technical enterprise products.
  2. A proven track record of delivering and scaling an outstanding pre-sales customer experience, being a trusted advisor with a passion for being an expert in Subaio’s products, market, and related trends.
  3. Experience providing advanced support, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of IT principles and customer requirements for similar technical B2B SaaS products.
  4. Exceptional storyteller with great presentation and communication skills, especially when engaging with executives and leaders.
  5. Have a humble attitude, an eagerness to help others, and a desire to pick up whatever knowledge you’re missing to make both your team and our customers succeed.
  6. Operate with high horsepower, have strong problem-solving skills, are adept at frequent context switching, effectively manage to work on multiple projects at once with expansive ownership, and ruthlessly prioritize.
  7. Experience with answering/writing RFI/RFP answers/documents.
  8. Experience with B2B and SaaS solutions, preferably within FinTech.
  9. Previous involvement with start-ups or scale-ups.
