DESCRIPTION
As a Customer Delivery Architect, you will contribute to shape transformational projects with our key customers by forming strategical relationships. You will partner with senior executives, dive deep into their business objectives and develop new products using the latest advancements in cloud technology.

In this role you will have a lot of freedom to guide the customer as per their best business’ interest. You will help with building a team, developing a roadmap and guiding customers through each stage of their transformation journey working together with our various services teams and sales organisation. Running pre-sales architectural discussions and design workshops with customers will help you to understand customer’s technical requirements deeply and translate it into a compelling business case.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. As a key member of the Account and Professional Services Go-To-Market teams, ensure success in designing, building, optimizing, evangelising complex, advanced data analytics solutions on the AWS platform;
  2. In partnership with the ProServe leadership and account team, formulate and execute a strategy to accelerate customer outcomes through the adoption of AWS in conjunction with Professional Services engagements;
  3. Ensure success by unlocking the value of data and analytics services on the AWS platform;
  4. In partnership with the Account/ProServe team, formulate and execute upon agreed customer strategy;
  5. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud;
  6. Capture and share best-practice knowledge, sales and delivery content amongst the AWS ProServe CDA and technical community;
  7. Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers;
  8. Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates;
  9. Act as a technical liaison between Customers, Account teams, ProServe and support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Multiple years of experience designing, implementation and consulting with distributed applications
- Multiple years of architecture experience in infrastructure, databases, or application development
- Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud infrastructure
- Relevant experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
- (Supply chain or Manufacturing or FSI, etc.) industry experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Practical knowledge of Agile project management and software development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud and/or operating solutions built on AWS
- Expertise in DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, or Serverless Computing
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
- Experience in Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, Powershell)
