Job Title: MHPSS Research SpecialistJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MHPSS Research Specialist to join our team in Copenhagen. As an MHPSS Research Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving the knowledge generation and research agenda within the RCRC Movement MHPSS Hub.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Knowledge Generation and Research Agenda

You will be responsible for coordinating the MHPSS Research network, writing research proposals and projects, and advising on or conducting research on behalf of Red Cross Red Crescent Movement partners.

Co-Lead the MHPSS Research Network

You will work closely with co-chairing National Societies (British & Swiss RC) to coordinate the MHPSS Research network and ensure its effective functioning.

Organize the MHPSS Research Carnival

You will be responsible for organizing the MHPSS Research Carnival, a key event in promoting research and innovation in mental health and psychosocial support.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

  • A PhD and postdoctoral experience in global mental health, psychology, social care, and/or psychiatry.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in conducting research related to MHPSS.
  • Proven skills in developing and drafting research proposals, research grant applications, and working within research consortiums involving academics and practitioners based in high and low-income settings.
  • Experience in working for or volunteering with the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and networking skills.
What We Offer

Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a monthly salary of DKK 49,000 - DKK 52,500, including pension contributions.
