Director of Infrastructure and Support Operations

For our client Secomea in Copenhagen, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Infrastructure and Support Operations. You will be a critical leader responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of Secomea's infrastructure and support services. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the NOC, Internal IT, and Support teams, driving continuous improvement and supporting the company's transition to a SaaS-centric platform.
Your responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the NOC, Internal IT, and Support teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and development plans for team members.
- Foster a smooth cooperation between Operations, R&D, and other departments and stakeholders.
- Manage team budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
- Participate actively in the Technology Management team.
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Secomea's hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises, cloud (AWS, Azure), and SaaS environments.
- Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of their infrastructure to support business operations and SaaS growth.
- Manage network operations, server administration, and security infrastructure.
Support Operations:
- Drive the delivery of exceptional technical support to internal and external customers, while implementing and optimizing support processes, tools, and workflows.
- Manage incident response, problem resolution, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure that the support teams have excellent knowledge of the company's OT security platform.
SaaS Transition:
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of SaaS solutions.
- Optimize infrastructure and support processes for SaaS operations.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to OT security and data privacy.
- Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure and support operations and participate in security audits and risk assessments.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address infrastructure and support issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and support management, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Extensive experience with server-based applications and SaaS environments, ideally within the OT security industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), networking, security, and ITIL best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with automation and DevOps tools.
- Experience with SOC/NOC management.
- Knowledge of OT security standards and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OT security technologies and solutions.
- Industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP).
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
