This role can be based in Copenhagen or London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Communications Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a global corporate communications strategy that aligns with Too Good To Go’s mission, values, and business goals.
  • Internal Communications Strategy: Develop and lead a global internal communications strategy that fosters employee engagement, alignment with the company’s mission, and seamless communication across regions.

  • Media Relations & Agency Management: Build and maintain relationships with key global media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Leverage our agency partnerships to maximize positive coverage and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Internal Communications Execution: Partner with People & Culture and department heads to drive internal communication initiatives that engage employees and keep them informed about key developments and business priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and government bodies, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and objectives.
  • Leadership and Team Inspiration: Oversee and guide a team of communications professionals, including the Senior Manager of Internal Communications and the Corporate Communications Manager, ensuring they are aligned across all of our markets with the overall strategy and motivated to deliver outstanding results.
  • Thought Leadership: Position Too Good To Go’s leadership team as champions in the global fight against food waste, driving thought leadership through media opportunities, events, and strategic communication initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, local PR leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and a strong global brand reputation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Team Player: We want someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, fosters a positive culture, and is passionate about building and leading high-performing, motivated teams.
  • Inspiration and Energy: You’re not just a communications professional—you’re a leader who inspires and brings a sense of fun and creativity to the workplace.
  • Diverse & Inclusive Mindset: We believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. We welcome candidates who bring diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds to help shape our communications strategy.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field at a global level.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing multi-market teams.
  • Experience developing and executing internal communications strategies at a global scale.
  • Native-level English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A second language is a definite plus.
  • Experience in crisis communication and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace.
  • Strong media relations experience with established contacts in major media outlets.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for sustainability and social impact, with a strong belief in Too Good To Go’s mission.
  • Compassion, empathy, and respect at all costs are definitely a must. These qualities help us maintain a supportive and inclusive workplace while amplifying our mission to create a positive impact.
