The positionAs our new IT/OT Project Manager, you will be joining a dynamic and experienced team called Project & Training. In the team, we have a good team spirit and a great cross-functional collaboration. We worship a good sense of humor and an open and respectful mindset.
As IT/OT Project Manager in our department, you will be allocated to support our IT & Automation track. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support the IT & Automation track by scoping, clarifying, and aligning deliveries in the work package.
- Develop and track timelines for operational readiness activities.
- Establish the overview of all necessary documentation for transition into operations as well as of support contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Conduct a comprehensive operational readiness review and address any identified gaps.
- Present risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage the handover of the systems to operations. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you have:
- An academic degree within IT, Automation, Engineering or similar.
- +5 years of experience managing IT/OT projects, preferably in pharma.
- Strong understanding of IT/OT landscape (SCADA, MES, ERP).
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a technical or specialized area.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage cross-functional projects.
- Fluent spoken and written English is a prerequisite.

About the departmentOur team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished, the facility will employ approximately 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late-phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.

PS API Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all major API Expansions projects across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients.
