The position
As Project Manager, you will be involved in one of our packaging projects or programs, overseeing international cross-organizational projects and work packages.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with international vendors and global production sites, managing daily communications, along with various ad-hoc tasks
  • Overseeing projects from the early development phase to the post-launch stage of our medical device/combination product pipeline
  • Managing a wide range of stakeholders both within Novo Nordisk and externally, with vendors
  • Initiating, executing, and finalizing projects within our established project execution framework
  • Acting as the crucial link between workgroups, steering groups, project owners, project governance, and key stakeholders

Occasional overseas travel may be required for this position, with approximately 10-20 days per year.

Finally, as a member of the team, we will encourage you to contribute to the continuous improvement of our everyday work as well as more tactical initiatives.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you:

  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, production, engineering or similar, coupled with practical experience in a comparable role
  • Show eagerness in utilizing project tools, implementing effective reporting mechanisms, and efficiently tracking project progress
  • Have the ability to ensure effective communication across all levels
  • Demonstrate proven capability in coordinating project activities with a methodical approach, handling demands with efficiency and effectiveness
  • Display strong written and verbal proficiency in English

Having technical experience in production or engineering or exposure to a regulated environment would be considered a strong advantage.

On a personal level, you possess outstanding communication and collaboration skills, engaging adeptly with stakeholders at all levels and navigating complexities. Your strategic mindset allows you to have a structured approach to work, efficiently handling issues, prioritizing tasks, and driving performance. You are an extroverted individual with a positive personality, fostering team collaboration and inspiring those around you.

About the Department
Packaging is a large department within DMD, currently consisting of more than 40 team members. DMD is responsible for the industrialisation of all medical devices at Novo Nordisk. We are an end-to-end corporate organisation developing products for high volume production, establishing control strategy of the products, improving, and implementing the production equipment at the production sites in different parts of the world. Finally, it is our ambition to drive change by discovering and putting in practice novel digital solutions to our processes.
