Your Role and TeamIn this role, you’ll report directly to our Head of Marketing, collaborating closely with a talented and enthusiastic team of designers, content creators, and marketing specialists who are all committed to creating impactful campaigns for sustainable urban mobility. Based in our Copenhagen office, you’ll focus on global reach with a local touch, working with country managers and city operations teams to ensure our messaging resonates in every market we serve. You’ll be at the heart of exciting local initiatives and events that bring our bike-sharing mission to life in communities worldwide.
What you’ll be doing:Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to promote our bike-sharing platform.
Analyze customer engagement and campaign performance, using insights to drive improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Manage and optimize our use of the Braze platform for personalized customer communication.
Craft engaging content that resonates with our community of bike enthusiasts and eco-warriors.
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to keep us ahead of the curve.
A bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or a related field, along with hands-on experience in Digital Marketing - ideally within a digital or tech-focused environment.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
A proactive, can-do attitude and a talent for creative problem-solving.
Knowledge of CRM and growth marketing frameworks (think AARRR funnel, experimentation cycles, and more).
Excellent communication skills in English (and yes, a good sense of humor is always appreciated).
Familiarity with the Braze platform is a huge plus.
A passion for cycling and sustainable living.
Bonus points if you’re fluent in one of our core marketing languages (like Dutch, German), to help create captivating, localized content.
Within 1 month
Onboarding: Dive into Donkey Republic’s mission, values, and brand voice, learning the ins and outs of our operations, tech tools, and communication platforms.
Product Familiarization: Gain a solid understanding of our bike-sharing platform, customer journey, and key marketing strategies.
Team Integration: Meet and connect with team members across departments - marketing, design, country management, and city operations, to build a supportive, cross-functional network.
Initial Project Engagement: Begin supporting ongoing campaigns and projects, learning the specifics of our Braze platform and participating in brainstorming sessions.
Within 3-6 months
CRM Optimization: Use the Braze platform to personalize and optimize CRM touchpoints, ensuring that our communications are relevant and impactful.
Campaign Ownership: Take the lead on designing, executing, and optimizing your own marketing campaigns, with guidance from the Head of Marketing.
Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze campaign performance data to track success and identify areas for improvement. Present findings and recommendations to the team.
Content Development: Work with our design team to produce engaging content that aligns with our mission and speaks to diverse local audiences.
Within 12 months
Strategic Input: Contribute strategic insights for quarterly and yearly marketing plans, identifying growth opportunities and potential new initiatives for global impact.
Regional Expertise: Act as a key marketing liaison for one or more regions, helping to refine marketing approaches and event planning for that area.
KPI Ownership: Take ownership of specific KPIs within the marketing department, setting benchmarks for success and regularly tracking progress.
Growth Initiatives: Lead or support an innovation project designed to elevate the Donkey Republic brand in our existing markets, or break ground in a new region.
