Aalborg, Denmark Trackunit Full time

We are looking for a Localization Manager to fulfill a maternity coverage contract starting as soon as possible and running until 28.02.2026.

You will be responsible for connecting Trackunit's brand and solutions to the construction industry around the world. You will coordinate our localization efforts and consult on localization best practices and manage incoming localization requests from the entire company.

Ranging from product consulting, to customer success to sales enablement to marketing localization requests, you will work with all departments and regional teams worldwide to finish projects on time and within budget.

As a localization manager, you focus on language, messaging, and tone of voice and aim for high quality in how to localize, messaging, and content at scale. You leverage your operational mindset to mobilize colleagues and partners to enhance Trackunit’s presence in the local markets.

Your work will involve creating, managing, coordinating, and completing localization projects. You will communicate important milestones and progress as well as risks related to projects. You will be an integrated part of the marketing team, coordinating translation activities across the organization.

With locations in the hearts of Copenhagen, Kolding, Aarhus and Aalborg, we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of our locations or remotely from anywhere in Denmark.

What’s in it for you?
  • A place in an agile growth SaaS business, with possibilities to grow internally in the company. We are developing quickly, so be prepared for changes. Back in 2020 we were 150 employees at Trackunit.
  • Great development opportunities through training, coaching, and mindfulness. We know that personal and professional development probably means a lot to you. It’s a shared responsibility and that’s as important to us. We facilitate it through impact conversations, where we together shape a learning path every quarter.
  • International environment with regular check-ins with the whole company.
  • Social events across teams, departments and borders.
  • Flexibility and hybrid working is not just a cliché to us. We do offer you a flexible setup and believe that you best can structure how your routines look like. And once you have chosen how you work best, let us know what you need: we got you covered with the IT equipment you need for your work.
  • Turning the Tide. At Trackunit, we are committed to creating and contributing to an inclusive workplace. And this commitment starts with our hiring - we do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation, personal expression, ethnicity, religious belief, or disability status. We only assess candidates on their qualifications and merit. Learn more about TIDE and other DE&I initiatives here .
Who are you ideally?
  • 2+ years professional experience as a Localization Manager or Localization Coordinator
  • Experience with localization management platforms
  • Verbal and written fluency in English and ideally one other language
  • Great attention to detail
  • Time management skills with the ability to organize multiple projects and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management reflecting our expectations of tracking timelines, setting deadlines, providing regular updates, and ensuring projects stay on schedule.

Don't meet every single requirement? No worries - this is our ideal candidate, but if you are very interested in this role, even if your experience does not match every requirement, we invite you to apply.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Coordinate: Liaise with product teams, engineering, and customer facing teams to ensure that product content works globally and local content is correct; guide them to implement localization best practices to minimize downstream issues and decrease cost and time-to-market for localized versions; and provide support for international product releases.
  • Processes: Manage and optimize localization tools and workflows to enable truly localized products and content in all languages to support market needs.
  • Planning: Follow translation projects from request to delivery: collect needs/requests, assign workload, monitor translations, ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Reporting: Maintain a reporting of translation projects and communicate regularly internally to ensure transparency of workload and planning.
  • Quality assurance: Manage and coordinate projects with internal proofreaders to ensure the maintenance of a desired level of quality in our localization deliverables.
  • Content: Develop scalable content development flows, leveraging technology and internal resources to minimize repetitive content and decrease time-to-market.
  • Reporting: Communicate status, KPIs, key issues, and launch plans for initiatives to key stakeholders across the business.
  • Brand: Ensure consistency of brand, messaging, correct use of terminology and tone of voice throughout products, marketing assets, Help Center content, etc.
Our hiring process

We’re taking some well-deserved downtime but didn’t want you to miss this job opportunity in case you’d like to reflect on it over the holidays We’ll review incoming applications at the beginning of January. Happy holidays

Second, and almost as important as the above message: Don't waste your time on writing the perfect cover letter for the job. We want you to create an impact that matters (and spend time with your loved ones), and that's not in the cover letter.

  • Virtual meet and greet with the Director of Product Marketing, Martin Roath (your leader) and a colleague from the team.
  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using Hogan prior to the interview. There are no correct answers and we are not trying to categorize you - the aim is a dialogue about the results and Trackunit’s culture.
  • Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the work tasks related to the role, so you will be given a case to prepare after the initial screening interview. You will present the case to colleagues from across Trackunit.
  • Quick meet & greet with our VP of Marketing.
  • Offer presentation and walk-through. We’re lucky to have you
The question is: Are you in? #J-18808-Ljbffr
