Responsibilities

We are looking for a Business Developer to support our Gas Trading team in business development and product implementation. The Gas team consists of diverse skill sets such as Business Developers, Gas Traders, Portfolio Managers, and Software Developers. The team is responsible for our gas trading activities and operates from offices in both Aalborg and Singapore. You will drive the development and implementation of new products and markets within Gas Trading in close cooperation with our internal specialists. Furthermore, you will support our team in developing processes and documentation both in Gas Trading and about cross-organizational activities.

In this role, you are expected to:
  • Apply a commercial mindset to the development and implementation of products that are valuable to our trading team.
  • Facilitate product scoping, analysis, and design in close cooperation with our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the implementation and launch of products on our operational platform.
  • Utilize our business development methodologies and take an active part in further maturing these with a focus on agility, efficiency, and engagement.
  • Support our Gas Trading team in building up tools and solid documentation that creates transparency and structured processes.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop cross-organizational processes and documentation to support agile and efficient working methods.

You will be working cross-organizationally with stakeholders within every part of our company. This position is an opportunity to shape our development solutions within Gas Trading and to work with some of the most skilled people in the industry.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, it is an advantage if you have the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance, legal studies, engineering, or a similar field.
  • Commercial flair and analytical skills.
  • Experience in or a flair for facilitating development activities across different functions – e.g., Commercial, IT, Backoffice.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation, documentation, and visualization.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
  • Experience in a similar position is a plus (preferably 1-3 years of experience in project management).
