The position

As a Procurement Professional at Novo Nordisk, your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Govern AM Bagsværd procurement process, purchase goods and services, and use tendering process for higher-value purchases.
  • Ensure contracts with suppliers are in place for higher-value agreements, while ensuring compliance within purchasing.
  • Realize savings.
  • Ensure that suppliers' change notifications are handled according to internal standards.
  • Conduct training and support activities.

This is a maternity cover opening, but when it will come to an end we will support you in potentially staying further on our board.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • An academic Master degree in a relevant field i.e. finance, procurement, engineering, is preferred.
  • Proven experience in finance, procurement and project management.
  • Experience with SAP and Power BI can be beneficial.
  • Able to seek simplicity in solutions, be innovative and put effort into improving processes and methods where possible.
  • Ability to see, solve and share problems when they occur.
  • Capacity to seek and give constructive feedback when needed, while helping others to succeed, both in its own team and across AM, remaining loyal and learning from others.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Danish is considered beneficial but not mandatory.

About the department

The Business Support department coordinates all activities related to our key Aseptic Factory in Bagsværd (Denmark, Capital Region). You will belong to a dynamic and high performing team reporting into the Manager of Supply Chain, Finance & Procurement. The team is fully dedicated to optimizing the factory performance and enable Novo Nordisk to serve as many patients as possible every day. We strive for excellence and continuous improvement.
