Global Strategic Account Director, Household Care, Planetary Health

Join us as our new Account Director for one of Novonesis largest customers and a global FMCG
In this role you will own and drive the relationship with one of our largest global customers, a leading player within the FMCG space. A passion for, as well as prior success, in steering global customer relationships is a must and the ability to drive a collaborative innovation agenda will be essential to succeed in this role. This includes both executing on the current innovation programs as well as building a stronger future pipeline with a focus on exploring new categories and rethinking the impact of BioSolutions in consumer goods. Negotiations and partnership development are key elements in the role.
You will manage a global team, of which 3 are direct reports, and supported by a both a global technical organization and regional account teams (reporting to the account with a dotted line).
This role requires excellent stakeholder management skills both externally and internally. In this role you regularly interact with VP and EVP level.
The role reports to the Senior Director for Household Care Europe, you will join a strong team which consists of sales and regional business development.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
- Driving the development and growth of one of our most important global customers
- Turning business, industry development, and customer needs into sales opportunities while proactively identifying and driving new opportunities in untapped markets and categories
- Inspiring your customer with new technologies and concepts to develop new business areas
- Proactively managing sales pipelines, financial reporting, and portfolio ownership
- Building and maintain key relationships; this includes regular travel to engage with the customer in different sites/geographies and internal teams to foster strong relationships and ensure alignment with business goals
- Rallying resources internally enable your customer's success
To succeed you must hold:
- Hold a degree (MSc or MBA) in business administration, sales & marketing or a technical degree
- +7 years of commercial experience within Sales and Marketing
- Experience with building and driving innovation pipelines (both medium and long-term)
- Have a strong drive, positive mindset, high ability to learn, goal-oriented, well organized, a can-do-attitude and teamwork skills working with colleagues globally
- Although a technical background is not a requirement you must have a passion for BioSolutions and prior experience collaborating to bring innovations to market
- FMCG understanding and knowledge of the detergent industry is an advantage

This job will be located at our HQ in Lyngby
Global travel should be expected, estimated 20%
