Job Description

#LI-BA1

Interested in growing your career within the most exciting company? This can be a fantastic opportunity to elevate your financial skills and toolbox, bringing a couple of years of experience. Or an opportunity for a new graduate (level will be adjusted based on candidate experience).

In this job you can bring your finance expertise, interest in business insight and analytical skills into play and impact how we centrally plan and control Overhead Cost. Specifically, you will be responsible for General Services and Employee Expenses including global expatriation costs.

There is no financial relocation support offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

Our team is committed to standardizing and optimizing the performance of core finance processes while driving productivity on overhead cost across the LEGO Group. We succeed through driver-based planning and reporting supported by our digital agenda.

Together with your colleagues you will:

  1. Support financial target setting and follow up on gaps in financial performance.
  2. Prepare financial plans for current and future years.
  3. Provide monthly performance reporting and other financial reports to our business partners.
  4. Identify and track cost drivers.
  5. Provide analytics on General Services and Employee Expenses, enabling trade-off/optimization discussions.
  6. Support the continued development of our reporting and financial planning process, including our digitalization agenda.
  7. Support, challenge, and act as a business partner within your area of responsibility.

We are organized in Corporate Finance and amongst other tasks set to centralize governance ownership, and we support the business with recommendations and benchmarks.

The company-wide outlook and the ambitious journey we have embarked on make the team a great place to start and advance your career within the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

You will make an excellent candidate if you:

  1. Hold a bachelor’s degree in economics or finance combined with an analytic approach and the ability to translate something complex into a simple storyline.
  2. Are open and curious and comfortable working in a constantly evolving environment.
  3. Possess excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  4. Are an advanced user of Excel. Experience with Power BI is a plus, but not a must.
  5. Are eager to learn and grow.
  6. Speak and write English fluently.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

What’s in it for you?

Wellbeing - We want our people to feel well and thrive. We offer resources and benefits to nurture physical and mental wellbeing along with opportunities to build community and inspire creativity.
