Who We Are
At Sustainability Advocates, we’re a volunteer-driven organization committed to advancing environmental sustainability. Through impactful projects and strong partnerships, we aim to inspire change, influence policy, and create a greener future. As Head of Program, you’ll be at the heart of it all, steering projects and making sure we deliver results that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate biweekly meetings with the leadership team to gather feedback on project progress.
- Support project leaders by ensuring they reach out to partners and meet deadlines.
- Frame and guide projects, ensuring proper risk management and thinking proactively about potential risks.
- Oversee project management, including task prioritization, timelines, and assigning responsibilities.
- Conduct biweekly meetings with the office to provide updates, discuss setbacks, and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain meeting notes and share updates on our community platform.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on both individual and group engagement.
- Problem-solving abilities and experience with risk management.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Lead impactful sustainability projects and gain leadership experience.
- Network with like-minded professionals in the sustainability sector.
- Develop your project management skills in a real-world setting.
- Be a key part of a growing movement advocating for environmental change.
