The role is a high-impact position with a high level of visibility and interaction with Senior Management, so you must be comfortable bringing your partnering mindset to the most senior people in the organization. You will be part of a high-performing team that acts as valued finance partners across the global organization, and you will have the opportunity to shape your role as we are constantly developing our services to our stakeholders. Are you our new Corporate Controller?

Do you want to push the boundaries of your profession and develop your excellence in an open, collaborative, and empowering culture? We work to create a sustainable future, and our inspiring projects and innovative solutions aim to set the standard among our peers. You will join a global company that has been growing successfully since its founding in 1945. Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies, and people around the world.

You will join the Cost Management team

As our new Corporate Controller, you will be part of a skilled, dedicated, and ambitious team that is dedicated to managing the performance of our corporate functions. As a function, we are on a transformation journey, so being innovative and bringing new ideas to the table is highly valued, both in our team and in Ramboll. You will join Cost Management, which is part of Ramboll’s global finance organization, and you will work from our Headquarter in Copenhagen.

As the Controller for our Corporate functions, you will be a trusted advisor to the head of functions and their global teams in matters related to cost management, financial analysis, business planning, and performance management.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
  • Driving planning, controlling, and reporting for relevant functions.
  • Ensuring quality in and timely delivery of reporting on cost levels, cost allocations, impacts on business units, and key performance indicators to the leadership team and governance boards for areas of responsibility.
  • Acting as a Business partner to the functional leaders within your area of responsibility.
  • Performing ad hoc analysis and driving changes in behavior and processes for the functions you support.
  • Ensuring quality of postings in both P&L and Balance Sheets.
  • Participating in relevant management meetings.
  • Driving a continuous cost improvement mindset and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize costs by utilizing data-driven spend.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders and the rest of finance.
  • Defining, tracking, and maintaining the sets of KPI’s that are used to steer the function.
Your starting point:

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company:

  • We are looking for people with a strong analytical mindset who can handle multiple tasks and challenges at hand while maintaining a good sense of urgency.
  • You have 5+ years of work experience within financial planning & analysis and/or experience as a trusted finance partner.
  • You thrive on challenging the status quo and can put together and execute a plan for change.
  • You have a positive attitude and possess outspoken collaboration skills, working well with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint are a requirement as you will be leading financial modeling. Experience working with business intelligence systems is an advantage; today, we use systems like Power BI and Jedox.
  • You have a solid understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles.
  • You are a self-starter, striving for continuous process improvements and holding high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and mastering the discipline of presenting data in a clear and concise manner are a must.
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:
  • You are hands-on with excellent attention to detail and care passionately about being precise and accurate.
  • You can work independently as well as in a team.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • You are comfortable working with and managing senior stakeholders.

We look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible. Please note that interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
