Technical Lead
As our new Tech Lead, you will work with a product team of highly skilled and dedicated people to deliver solutions and services to our enterprise customers. With the rest of the engineering team, you will set the direction for our architecture and the way we build, run, and deploy our services and APIs.
You will be responsible for the execution and overall quality of a team's technical deliveries, including your own contributions to code. Together with the product manager and the rest of the team, you will find the right technical approach to deliver the solutions needed to achieve the team's objectives and our company's goals.
Software engineers on the team will report to you, and you will coach and help them improve in their roles. Maybe you’re currently a solid performer in a senior role and are looking to add more responsibility, or maybe you have a similar role where you are still hands-on day to day.
In this role, you will:
- Closely collaborate with the Product Managers and Designers on your team.
- Provide technical leadership in your team.
- Design and plan architecture to build stable and scalable software.
- Do high-level system design and low-level technical design.
- Show the way through hands-on code deliveries.
- Contribute to product discovery in the team to identify feasible, high-impact solutions to drive the team objectives.
- Help prioritize technical enablements to achieve business goals and evaluate what can be executed with the available resources.
- Work with Infrastructure team members to ensure continued stability and performance.
- Coach the developers in your team.
- Develop and implement processes and practices for the engineering team.
- Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push capabilities forward.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes to deploy our solutions.
- Ensure documentation of code, processes, and practices you are responsible for.
Requirements:
- Solid Node.js experience.
- Deep understanding of the full stack of technologies used in a web application.
- Good understanding of DevOps, QA, and test automation.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, and orchestration.
- Solid understanding of Product Development Practices (how to work with PMs and Designers), User and Customer focus.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and modern software development practices.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and a range of AWS services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
You:
- Act with integrity, and when you see wrongdoing, you speak up.
- Are curious, open-minded, and result-oriented with a focus on business outcomes and user experience.
- Take ownership of your work and when you provide input and feedback; it's constructive, positive, and aimed at productively resolving challenges.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary.
- Excellent growth opportunities.
- Flexible working hours, hybrid work set-up.
- Opportunity to contribute to a truly important cause - building an ethical and compliant business space around the globe.
- A real impact on the company’s growth and evolution.
- Great office space and central location in the heart of Copenhagen near Kongens Have.
- Social activities - workout sessions, book clubs, movie nights, DHL runs, Friday bars, office parties, and much, much more.
- Amazing lunch, soft drinks, fruit, snacks, and great coffee.
