The position

As our new CVP Environment and Energy Coordinator for CMC API Pilots you will be the key player in driving and supporting the areas on many different tasks, such as:

  • Legal compliance and authority inspections. Comply with ISO14001 and ISO50001 management standards, including management reviews and internal/external audits.
  • Management presentations and training within Environment and Energy
  • Initiatives to support the bold circular for zero environmental strategy and ensure trustworthy forecasts
  • Environment and Energy assessment of changes and new projects included planning of needed actions
  • ESG reporting, including data to Novo Nordisk Annual Report and internal ESG audits

Moreover, you will be a strong support for other employees handling tasks within environment and energy and be an active team player in CMC across the environmental organization. You will be the environment and energy resource for the CVP of CMC API Pilots.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

  • A Master's degree in environmental management or other relevant education
  • +3 years of experience from a similar position
  • Familiarity with Danish environmental legislation and the ISO 14001 standard. Knowledge of ISO 50001 is a plus
  • Skilled presenter and communicator and capable of making effective decision recommendations
  • Fluent in spoken and written Danish and English

You have strong stakeholder engagement/management skills along with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels while driving agendas independently. You are a team player with an international mindset and enjoy being part of a global work environment. You have the ability to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner and to proactively manage numerous and changing priorities effectively. You can work independently as well as in a team environment, and you can set the direction when needed and manage changes in processes. Most importantly, you are flexible, eager to take up new tasks and projects.

About the department

As part of the Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Product and Process Development, makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a "can do" mindset.
