Vertic, a Globant division, is currently looking for a Medical Writer to join its Globant Gut Studio in Copenhagen.


You will get the chance to:

  1. Create scientifically accurate and creatively engaging written content, working closely with UX specialists, content strategists, and designers. Manage referencing and assume accountability for the work's scientific accuracy and creative appeal.
  2. Develop compelling headlines, marketing copy, email and website copy, video scripts, and social media content for congresses, disease awareness campaigns, and product launches that resonate with both healthcare professionals and the public.
  3. Lead cross-functional projects as a medical expert, creative collaborator, and strategic consultant; translate client briefs and complex scientific data into compelling, compliant marketing narratives; partner with designers and content strategists to guide them in developing visually impactful materials; guide clients in shaping competitive, scientifically sound messaging across various formats.
  4. Proactively monitor developments – innovations, publications, guidelines updates, etc. – in specific therapeutic areas.
  5. Become the 'go-to' expert on specific therapeutic areas, fundamental principles such as compliance and referencing, as well as effective communication strategies for different target audiences.
  6. Lead the preparation of interview guides for video productions featuring HCPs, patients, and caregivers, providing direction and support during shoots.
  7. Review and optimize output (web pages, emails, video scripts, infographics, etc.) for accuracy, compliance, and creative impact, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.

What will help you succeed:

  1. Experienced-level medical writer with strong creative writing skills. An MD, PharmD, PhD, or MS degree in a medical science related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of proven medical writing experience, with at least 2 years in a medical marketing role (agency or in-house marketing/content team).
  3. Demonstrated ability to create engaging content for both healthcare professionals and the general public, including experience with social media, video scripts, and disease awareness campaigns.
  4. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative medical content, including headlines, marketing copy, and patient-focused materials.
  5. Experience in developing and executing creative concepts for pharmaceutical advertising campaigns.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex medical information into compelling, accessible content.
  7. Proficiency in adapting writing style for various platforms and audiences (e.g., social media, websites, print materials, video scripts).
  8. Experience with compliance regulations in pharmaceutical advertising and promotion.
  9. Fluency in English (oral and written) is a requirement.
  10. Experience as a healthcare practitioner is a plus.
