At Conference Manager, we're committed to revolutionizing event management across Europe. As the market leader in Denmark, with expansions into Germany and Sweden, we’re just getting started We are now searching for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead, grow and develop our Operations & Development department. This role is central to our mission, focusing on both product enhancement and operational efficiency while ensuring our SaaS solutions are scalable and secure.
As part of the Executive Management team reporting to the Founder and CEO, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our company by driving innovation, enhancing operational processes, and ensuring we meet and exceed customer expectations.
About the role
As CTO, you will manage a rapidly expanding tech department and play a critical role in scaling it to meet future demands. You’ll provide leadership, ensure alignment with company goals, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Among other things, you will:
- Lead and inspire the operations and development department, taking ownership of product development and guiding the team towards success. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
- Provide daily management and leadership to a growing tech department, ensuring seamless collaboration between front-end, backend, and operations teams.
- Develop and implement the company's technology roadmap , aligning it with business objectives and ensuring scalability and security of our SaaS solutions.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of all technology projects. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product releases by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Define and execute strategic tech roadmaps to fuel innovation and drive continuous improvement within our platform.
- Maintain and strengthen the company’s ISO 27001 certification by ensuring that all processes, systems, and technologies meet the highest standards of information security. Proactively manage risks and lead initiatives to enhance our compliance posture.
- Optimize operations to ensure infrastructure, deployment, and support processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Establish and maintain best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing, and deployment processes to ensure the highest product quality.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop tech talent, expanding the team to meet the company’s ambitious growth plans.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our product and customer needs, driving meaningful discussions around technical solutions and enhancements.
- Drive innovation and strategic decision-making by staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Strong understanding of product development processes and the ability to anticipate and address customer needs.
- Demonstrated expertise and natural interest in cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English.
