Join Danfoss as the new Global Head of Talent Development. We are looking for a senior HR leader to enhance the organization's talent pipeline, align leadership capabilities with strategic goals, and promote continuous leadership growth and development. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and HR to create and drive programs that support talent development and a robust leadership pipeline to drive Danfoss' strategic objectives.

Reporting line: This position reports to Isabel Pumares, Vice President, Global Head of Talent.

The team you will belong to:

Danfoss has a matrix operating model where the Global Talent Team is a strategic partner to enable global focus and coherence in key talent topics, creating and driving strong global solutions and processes. We cover the entire Talent journey: Employer Branding, Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, Graduate Programs, Performance Management, Talent Reviews, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, Executive Development and DE&I/Inclusion.

You will be part of the Talent Leadership Team and lead one of the 3 teams within that COE: the Talent Development team, composed of 4 highly strong and committed colleagues.

Locations: Preferably Copenhagen or Nordborg, in Denmark.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Talent Development: Lead the team to create and drive global talent management initiatives, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and brokering, fostering a culture of continuous development and high performance.
  • Leadership Development: Lead the team to create a global leadership development strategy aligned with Danfoss’ business goals and behaviors, focusing on leadership at all levels. Lead the implementation of solid global partnerships.
  • Executive Programs: Lead the design and implementation of executive development initiatives, including succession planning for senior leaders, mentoring, and other developmental programs. In partnership with our Executive Team and senior HR stakeholders, design and deliver Danfoss’ Executive Transitions Program and other programs addressed to develop senior leaders at Danfoss.
  • Growth Mindset Culture: Drive the global project to reach a growth mindset culture across the organization, in line with the Danfoss Behaviors and the business strategy. Collaborate with senior stakeholders, external partners, HR colleagues and leaders. Lead the project and create tools and solutions, helping the business to implement a decentralized -yet global- growth mindset culture.
  • Organizational Alignment: Enable stakeholder alignment across the organization, designing and agreeing on solutions that work well for the business while they maintain global coherence.
  • Analysis & Communication: Establish and report on KPIs to measure program effectiveness and continuously evaluate impact of initiatives. Lead executive reporting on key talent topics (updates for the Executive Team and Board of Directors, Annual Report, ESG Strategy, Danfoss Communication channels, etc).
  • People Management: Lead and develop a team of four global talent experts. Be an active member of the leadership team in the Global Talent COE, contributing to the impactful role of the COE in supporting the Danfoss strategy.

Education:

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent leadership qualification is preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in leadership development, executive coaching, and talent management, including significant experience in global manufacturing organizations.
  • Proven track record transforming leadership cultures at a global scale. Experience with Growth Mindset is a strong asset.
  • Experience in managing senior-level relationships and advising C-suite executives.
  • Experience driving results in decentralized, matrixed organizations is a must.
  • Track record as a people leader who drives and develops impactful and engaged teams.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align talent development with organizational strategy.
  • Expertise in 360 degrees and leadership assessment tools; coaching-based development and talent management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience fostering a culture of leadership development.
