About the Role
Are you passionate about talent, startups and impact?
As the Head of Talent at KRING you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top entrepreneurial minds—specifically, Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) and Experts in Residence (XIRs) with experience in health, energy, or the green transition. These EIRs and XIRs will help bring new, impactful ventures to life, eventually stepping into co-founding roles as validated ideas spin out from venture building.
This role isn’t just about filling positions; it's about finding the trailblazers and visionaries who can drive the success of transformative ventures. In this hands-on position, you’ll leverage your headhunting expertise to connect with exceptional talent and cultivate the teams that will shape the future.
Key Responsibilities
1. Building Exceptional Venture Teams
Identify and recruit EIRs and XIRs aligned with Venture building objectives
Design and implement an end-to-end talent acquisition strategy specifically targeting entrepreneurial profiles and industry experts.
Foster connections within startup ecosystems and industry networks to source extraordinary talent.
2. Headhunting and Screening
Conduct proactive searches, utilizing industry contacts, networks, and digital platforms to locate high-potential candidates.
Evaluate candidates for entrepreneurial potential, industry knowledge, and alignment with KRING’s goals.
Implement a streamlined interview process that prioritizes fit and synergy with venture needs.
3. Engaging talent and Building Relationships
Cultivate lasting relationships with entrepreneurial talent, developing a strong candidate pool for current and future ventures.
Champion KRING’s unique value proposition, inspiring talents who are excited by the challenge of early-stage company building.
Represent KRING at industry events, meetups, and conferences, amplifying our reach and appeal to top talent.
4. Strategic Talent Planning to Drive Venture Success
Collaborate closely with KRING’s leadership to understand talent requirements for upcoming and existing ventures.
Advise founders and EIRs on talent strategies, supporting the creation of well-rounded, high-performing teams.
Lead seamless onboarding initiatives, ensuring newly recruited founders and experts hit the ground running.
5. Data-Driven Talent Insights
Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, optimizing processes based on pipeline progress, conversion rates, and time-to-fill.
Share insights and regular updates with leadership, providing a pulse on the talent landscape, emerging trends, and candidate feedback.
Leverage technology and AI solutions to empower recruiting
Qualifications
Proven experience in talent acquisition or executive search, ideally within a startup, venture capital, or venture building context.
Demonstrated success in headhunting for high-impact roles, with a keen understanding of founder or co-founder dynamics.
Strong network within the startup ecosystem and a deep appreciation for what drives top-tier entrepreneurial talent.
Strategic mindset with the ability to design tailored acquisition plans to support the unique needs of each venture.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, representing KRING with professionalism and positive energy.
