- Build and maintain a strong and smooth collaboration between HR, Payroll, and Finance.
- Handle and guide employees on leave & absence queries.
- Apply for and ensure company refunds at Virk.dk and occupational injuries registration.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws concerning e.g. vacation, parental leave, GDPR etc.
- Stay up to date with local employment law landscape to ensure local compliance.
- Handle social security coverage (A1) for employees abroad.
- Register and upload absence in our Payroll system.
- Reply to questions from employees in joint Payroll inbox.
- Control salary data before pay slips are produced and across months.
- Partner with leaders, HR colleagues, Union reps, and relevant external advisors to resolve employee relations issues.
- Keep a track record of documentation on e.g. sick leave, parental leave, A1 coverage etc.
- Secure reconciliations and controls.
To Succeed in This Role, We Believe That You Can Offer:
- Extensive experience working hands-on with Danish salary from A to Z for employees on collective bargaining agreements, shift workers, and salaried employees (“funktionærer”).
- Experienced within collective bargaining agreements, local agreements, Danish Vacation Act, Danish Tax Assessment Act (§§33A, 9A and §53A), and Danish Salaried Employees Act.
- Experience with taxation, social security coverage abroad (A1), per diem etc.
- Knowledge of 3-part salary reconciliation (“lønarter, finans, e-indkomst”).
- Familiar with applicable data protection and privacy laws (e.g. GDPR).
- A resilient personality that can cope with organizational complexity, change, and an HR set-up that is still being implemented.
- Written and verbal fluency in Danish & English.
