Head of Maintenance Development- Offshore Wind

Vattenfall is a leading European energy company seeking a highly skilled professional to drive the strategic direction and performance of its Maintenance Development department. As the Head of Maintenance Development, you will be responsible for ensuring that all initiatives align with the business area's objectives and empowering your team to translate strategy into action.
Your key focus will be anchoring the Maintenance Strategy Governance across the organization, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will ensure that the team upholds Vattenfall's core values, consistently delivering safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 25+ years of maintenance plans in SAP, focusing on efficiency, standardization, and compliance.
- Lead FMECA model development.
- Oversee the creation of master data and technical compliance registers.
- Develop strategies for obsolescence management, including equipment and spare parts.
Leadership Expectations:
- Leading a team of 6-8 Maintenance Engineers, organized internationally.
- Lead and inspire the team by providing clear frameworks that empower individuals to take ownership of their work and reach their full potential.
- Foster growth and success by regularly discussing objectives, training, and career development, ensuring alignment with both company goals and personal growth.
- Lead by example, embodying Vattenfall's core values, Code of Conduct, and Integrity, while driving alignment with the company's purpose and strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of international leadership experience in the energy or technical sector, with a preference for offshore wind.
- Deep knowledge of maintenance and reliability engineering is a plus.
- A positive, proactive, and structured mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proven experience as a people manager, with strong soft skills and a focus on team development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, build relationships, and present confidently across diverse cultures and locations.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP, program/project management, and technical tools is desirable.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
