About the Role

British American Tobacco is seeking a seasoned security professional to lead our Nordics Cluster Security Team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust security program that protects our personnel, assets, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the safety and protection of our employees, visitors, and company assets.
  • Lead a team of security professionals in providing exceptional security services, including threat assessments, risk mitigation, and crisis management.
  • Maintain close relationships with law enforcement agencies, intelligence organizations, and other government agencies to stay informed about prevailing security issues and trends.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to identify and address key security concerns and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships to support the delivery of security services.
Requirements
  • At least four (4) years of senior management experience in security management, police, military service, or corporate security in the private sector.
  • Security team leadership experience, with strong leadership, management, and delegation skills.
  • Professional qualification on security, ideally an international professional certification (CPP or CSMP) or degree level (BSc) in "Security Studies" or formal qualification in the management of security operations.
  • A high level of communications skills, with ability to explain and defend difficult issues with respect to key decisions and concepts.
  • Ability to maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills, with the ability to organise substantial workload comprising diverse tasks and responsibilities.
  • Solid organisational skills: flexibility and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Professional knowledge in IT tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to identify and address key security issues to support strategic business needs quickly and competently.
  • Competent knowledge of budget management and business controls.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment to lead and harness the performance of direct reports (security guards and junior profiles).
  • Display sound, mature judgement, and decision-making ability. Ability to make swift, balanced decisions in emergencies or when rapid response is required.
Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
