About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our research team at DTU - Technical University of Denmark as a PhD candidate. This position focuses on investigating the critical role of longevity, repair, and reuse for consumer products, with a specific emphasis on textiles and shoes.

Key Deliverables:

  • Conduct Material Flow Analyses (MFAs) to quantify production, consumption, and waste streams.
  • Investigate product lifetimes and consumer habits.
  • Develop novel assessment methods for evaluating product longevity.
Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in environmental engineering or a related field, with a two-year master's degree or equivalent academic experience. Good English language skills are essential, and some level of Danish proficiency is required for interactions with stakeholders.
