Postdoctoral Researcher in Cellular Models of Neurodevelopmental Delay

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Department of Neuroscience. The successful candidate will contribute to our research program investigating the mechanisms of neurodevelopmental delays and epilepsy using live cell microscopy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement experiments using live cell microscopy and image analysis techniques.
  • Analyze data and identify imaging parameters that are changed by mutation.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and patient groups to understand the relevance of findings.

Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent degree in natural or medical science.
  • Excellent scientific track record and solid experience with cell culture methods.
  • Experience in fluorescence microscopy and image analysis techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.
  • Proficient English language skills written and spoken.
