Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Københavns Universitet (KU) Full time

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic researcher to join our team at the Department of Neuroscience, University of Copenhagen. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will play a key role in investigating the mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental delays and epilepsy using live cell microscopy.

The project involves studying cellular models of neurodevelopmental delay and epilepsy using fluorescence microscopy and image analysis techniques. Your task will be to design and implement experiments to detect consequences of disease mutations on circuit level activity.

Our research group is international and collaborative, with a strong focus on teamwork and interdisciplinary approaches. We study the molecular basis for neurotransmitter release in chemical synapses and the mechanism of neurodevelopmental diseases and epilepsy.
