Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Next-Generation Motor Control Algorithms: Design, develop, and test advanced motor control algorithms to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with hardware design engineers, software engineers, and compressor design engineers to create innovative frequency converters.
  3. Perform Computer-Based Modelling and Simulation: Utilize Matlab/Simulink to model and simulate motor control systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  4. Validate and Refine Algorithms: Conduct proof-of-concept development and validation of advanced control algorithms, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  5. Support Design Teams: Provide technical expertise to design teams, assisting in solving complex problems and optimizing system performance.
  6. Document Engineering Results: Publish engineering reports, trade magazine articles, white papers, and conference papers to share knowledge and expertise.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Control Engineering: Hold a master's degree in control engineering or a related field.
  • Strong Knowledge of Model-Based Design: Possess a deep understanding of model-based design principles and practices.
  • Expertise in Control Theory and Data Analytics: Demonstrate strong skills in control theory and data analytics, with the ability to apply creative approaches to solve complex problems.
  • Experience in Matlab/Simulink Environment: Have extensive experience working in the Matlab/Simulink environment, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
  • Experience in Motor Control Algorithms: Possess a solid understanding of motor control algorithms and their application in real-world systems.
  • Good Communication and Collaboration Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global organization.
  • Good Written and Spoken English: Possess good written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Experience in Embedded Programming (C/C++): Have experience in embedded programming using C/C++ languages, which is an advantage.
