We are seeking a skilled R&D Laboratory Specialist to join our Group Research and Development department in Hedehusene.

As R&D Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding R&D development projects, participating in/initiating line trials at our factories, and exploring test methods and data to become an expert in the field.

You will work closely with lab technicians and fellow engineers to plan tests, perform analyses, and present conclusions. Your key tasks will include:

  • Guiding R&D development projects and participating in/initiating line trials at our factories
  • Exploring test methods and data to become the expert in the field
  • Participating in internal and external networks, e.g., various European test institutes, utilizing the knowledge gained for improvement of standards for insulation products
  • Building up new knowledge and innovative solutions

You will be part of a vibrant project organization and work in a well-equipped laboratory. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge as you explore the area of product properties for a wide range of stone wool products.

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in chemical engineering or other scientific area, a couple or more years of experience from a similar position, ideally within development, and solid communications skills, both written and oral.

You will be working in a dynamic learning environment, always looking for ways to make improvements, sharing knowledge, and asking questions.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in chemical engineering or other scientific area
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
