We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Port and Marine Engineer to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our Ports, Marine and Coastal Engineering department, you will be responsible for driving the development and innovation of our structural engineering skillset.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical design and project management of complex port and marine projects, ensuring high-quality design solutions and innovation.
- Manage marine projects, including feasibility studies, port master planning, and detailed design and supervision.
- Collaborate with clients, academia, and stakeholders to co-create value and sustainable design solutions.
- Act as a role model for younger team members, promoting knowledge sharing and open-minded collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of our multidisciplinary team, bringing expertise and personality to the team and developing skills further.
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar).
- At least 8 years of proven experience in the design of marine structures, such as quay, jetty, and berthing structures, pile decks, caissons, block walls, dolphins, etc.
- Knowledge about port equipment, mooring systems, and navigation.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant design codes and design methodology.
- Large experience with complex multidisciplinary marine projects, such as ports, flood defence, artificial islands, or immersed tunnels.
- Great communication skills - English at a professional level.
- You thrive in a dynamic work environment with many stakeholders.
- Sustainability is in your mindset, and you actively want to investigate and apply green solutions.
