Job Summary
In this key role as Global Technical Expert for Blade Coatings Solutions, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice on global blade projects within the Energy segment. Your primary focus will be on developing the Global Technical Service around OEM, Blade manufacturers, and applicators for blade coatings and Leading-Edge Protection systems. You will also collaborate with Group R&D to test new and existing products, ensuring alignment with customer and Jotun standards.
Responsibilities
- Key person in the pre-qualification process at OEMs in blade coatings solutions.
- Key person in Jotun's global team for blade coatings solutions to support strategy for product solutions.
- Contribute to the blade coatings industry to support application processes and procedures, as well as cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop and update training programs for Jotun's technical service teams on coatings for blades.
- Train local technical service teams to deliver proper service at stakeholders' sites.
- Audit and support key projects to ensure smooth execution of all jobs contracted with blade products globally.
- Collaborate closely with regional and local organizations to strengthen the technical service specialist network in Jotun's blade coatings solutions.
