We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen.

As a postdoc, you will work under the supervision of Professor Anders Krogh and be part of the group focusing on deep generative models, quantum computing, and applications to medical data.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of novel machine learning and quantum computing techniques for protein-ligand binding and other biological or medical applications.

You will also have the chance to collaborate with our theoretical and experimental collaborators in math and physics, as well as work with other people in the centers "Center for Basic Machine Learning Research in Life Science" and "Quantum for Life".

About the Position

This is a full-time position available from December 1st, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is open to highly motivated individuals who hold a PhD and MSc in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a similar field, with a strong background in machine learning and generative models.

In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone who is fluent in English, has excellent communication and collaboration skills, and is comfortable working in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.

What We Offer

The University of Copenhagen offers a competitive salary range of DKK 536,600 - DKK 748,101 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications, and seniority. The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
