About the Role
This position reports to the R&D Global Unit Lead and is a key contributor to the Electrification Smart Power Innovation & Product Platform. As the R&D Software Process Owner, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing software development processes tailored to the specific needs and goals of the R&D department.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement software development processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Evaluate and select appropriate software development methodologies based on project requirements, team dynamics, and organizational objectives.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the software development process and lead initiatives to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams, software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align software development processes with project goals.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to R&D staff on software development processes, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in software development process management, software engineering, or a related role.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing software development processes.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
