R&D Software Process Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Software Process Owner to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing software development processes tailored to the specific needs and goals of our R&D department.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement software development processes that meet project complexity, resource availability, and technology stack requirements.
- Ensure software development processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, such as ISO, FDA, or industry-specific requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate software development methodologies based on project requirements, team dynamics, and organizational objectives.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance measures, including code reviews, testing strategies, and quality gates.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the software development process and lead initiatives to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and reduce time-to-market.
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams, software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align software development processes with project goals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in software development process management, software engineering, or a related role.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing software development processes.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
