DTU - Technical University of Denmark is seeking a highly talented PhD candidate to contribute to the discovery of new piezoelectric and pyroelectric materials for high-efficiency energy storage and electronic devices. Our research focuses on developing innovative energy conversion technologies using the unique properties of piezoelectricity and pyroelectricity.

Job Description:
  • Develop novel piezoelectric and pyroelectric materials for sustainable energy applications
  • Investigate complex oxide thin films for energy conversion purposes
  • Collaborate with international research groups on experimental projects
Requirements:
  • MSc degree in chemistry, physics, materials science, engineering, or similar
  • Strong background in condensed matter physics or materials science
  • Experience with PLD growth of complex oxide thin films and heterostructures
  • Proficiency in ionic transport, dielectric, and electromechanical measurement skills
