Job Summary

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team in the Northern Central Europe region. As a key member of our Special Projects team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of offshore projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive supervision of all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, risk, stakeholder management, procurement, communication, and continuous improvement
  • Responsible for overseeing the work of sub-contractors, allocating and utilizing resources efficiently, and maintaining a co-operative and qualified team
  • Responsible for day-to-day communication and alignment with stakeholders, representing and presenting the project
  • Act as an ambassador for Vestas, Offshore Service, and sub-departments
  • Contribute actively to build and maintain good work ethics and team spirit in Special Projects and in the wider Vestas community

Requirements

  • Engineering, Commercial, or Project Management degree
  • Professional experience from a similar industry or role involving complex project management and risk management
  • Product understanding
  • Contractual and commercial acumen
  • Fluent in English
  • Qualified in the Stage Gate model (Prince2, PMI, or similar)
  • Experience with offshore logistics, including managing BIMCO Charter Party/Wind Charter, is a merit
