About Our Research Focus

Our research focus is on designing binding proteins from scratch to modulate previously undruggable membrane proteins. This approach results in designed proteins with unique properties to meet therapeutic needs currently not served by existing medicines.

As a Protein Designer, you will work closely with the project team to develop, execute, and optimize protein design campaigns targeting integral membrane proteins.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Optimize Protein Design Campaigns: Utilize your expertise in protein structure analysis to develop and optimize protein design campaigns targeting integral membrane proteins.
  2. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Perform analysis of rich experimental data to improve current design techniques and provide actionable insights to enhance design pipelines.
  3. Software Development and Maintenance: Assist the project team in the development of software infrastructure for experimental workflows.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • PhD in Relevant Field: A PhD in physics, biology, chemistry, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Scripting Framework Proficiency: Proficient in scripting frameworks, preferably Python, and able to develop within a shared codebase.
  • Protein Structure Analysis Expertise: Expertise in protein structure analysis, including the ability to evaluate designed protein structures and provide actionable insights to enhance design pipelines.
