About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our team at Lenus eHealth. As an Indirect Tax Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with indirect tax laws and regulations in a growing business with a mission to enable people to live healthier, happier lives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as an internal advisor on indirect tax matters, providing guidance and support to the business on tax-related issues.
  2. Work closely with the product department to ease processes related to charging and remittance of indirect taxes globally.
  3. Facilitate the roll-out of indirect tax infrastructures for new products and markets, including registrations, technical setup, and collaboration with external advisors.
  4. Monitor and communicate legislative developments in the indirect tax space with relevance to the Lenus Group.
  5. Support requests from tax authorities and potential indirect tax audits in collaboration with advisors.
  6. Ensure timely indirect tax calculations and remittance.
  7. Perform ad-hoc tasks to support the development of Finance, Tax, and the business.

Requirements

  1. Relevant master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar.
  2. Experience with indirect taxes from consulting, the tax administration, or as an in-house advisor.
  3. Experience with a US marketplace facilitator setup and US sales taxes is an advantage but not a requirement.
  4. Full working proficiency in English.
  5. Analytical mindset – you will be building processes and structure.
  6. A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
