Indirect Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our team in Copenhagen. As an Indirect Tax Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with indirect tax laws and regulations in various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide internal advisory services on indirect tax matters to the business
  • Collaborate with the product department to streamline processes related to charging and remittance of indirect taxes globally
  • Facilitate the roll-out of indirect tax infrastructures for new products and markets, including registrations and technical setup
  • Monitor and communicate legislative developments in the indirect tax space relevant to the company
  • Support requests from tax authorities and potential indirect tax audits in collaboration with external advisors
  • Ensure timely indirect tax calculations and remittance
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks to support the development of Finance, Tax, and the business
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in indirect taxes with an operational approach to problem-solving
  • Can-do attitude towards complex problems and ability to operationalize legislation within the field of taxes
  • Relevant master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • Experience with indirect taxes from consulting, tax administration, or as an in-house advisor
  • Experience with a US marketplace facilitator setup and US sales taxes is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Full working proficiency in English
  • Analytical mindset – building processes and structure
  • Can-do attitude to problem-solving
