We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our data quality initiatives and drive strategic decisions. As an Information Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks that ensure data quality and security.

About the Role:

  • You will lead initiatives to improve data quality across BA Wind by establishing data quality metrics, monitoring activities, and driving solutions to enhance data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineers, data experts, and business experts to define and document data definitions, data lineage, and metadata management practices in our data catalogue.
  • Develop a data-driven culture by promoting the value of data and analytics across the organization.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to encourage innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Align with other data experts on organization objectives, best practices, tooling, procedures, and general change management.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Data and Information Management, Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in data and information management or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in implementing data governance initiatives in complex organizations.
  • Prior experience in the wind or energy industry is a plus.
  • Experience working with data catalogue tools (Alation, Collibra, etc.) and data quality management practices.
