Salary and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary, ranging from €80,000 to €120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including good remuneration, challenging work environment, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Job Description

We are looking for an Information Specialist to join our Data Management team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take the lead on how data stewardship helps solve business issues across BA Wind. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and owning the strategy for data quality within BA Wind and detailing the roadmap for relevant activities to support the data governance frameworks, policies, and standards that ensure data quality and security;
  • Leading initiatives to improve data quality across BA Wind by establishing data quality metrics, monitoring activities, and driving solutions to improve data quality;
  • Working closely with IT, data engineers, data experts, and business experts to define and document data definitions, data lineage, and metadata management practices in our data catalogue supporting the overall data management roadmap;
  • Leading the way on the development of a data-driven culture by promoting the value of data and analytics across the organization, where you support in translating business goals into actionable data strategies;
  • Responsible for building data-centric communities that foster a collaborative and inclusive environment to encourage innovation and continuous improvement;
  • Aligning across BAs with other data experts on organizational objectives, best practices, tooling, procedures, and general change management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Data and Information Management, Engineering, or relevant industry experience;
  • 5-8 years of experience in data and information management or similar roles;
  • Strong expertise in implementing data governance initiatives in a complex organization;
  • Prior experience in the wind or energy industry is a plus;
  • Experience working with data catalogue tools (Alation, Collibra, etc.) and data quality management practices;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex data environments;
  • The ability to connect with people on different levels, take them along on the journey, and make change happen.
