Investment Professional for Sustainable Infrastructure Development

Job SummaryWe are seeking a senior investment professional to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have experience in infrastructure finance, particularly in water and sanitation, waste management, and renewable energy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, screening, and appraising project proposals to ensure they align with our investment strategy and overall strategies and policies for Danish development policy and partner country priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Project Identification and Development: Identify and develop project proposals that meet our investment criteria and are aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Due Diligence and Contracting: Conduct due diligence on project proposals, design and tender, financial close, including legal, ESG, and other aspects with support from in-house and external experts.
- Project Implementation and Monitoring: Oversee and follow-up on project development and implementation, ensuring timely and accurate updating of information systems.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain close dialogue and collaboration with national and international public sector organizations, other development finance institutions, and technical consultants.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Vast experience in infrastructure finance, preferably in water and sanitation, waste management, and renewable energy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive project- and stakeholder management in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Patience, drive, proactivity, and great structure and capacity to work independently, lead processes, and project teams.
