What You Will Do

As a Vendor Management and Compliance Expert, you will be responsible for evaluating the risks associated with third-party vendors and ensuring their compliance with Mastercard's standards.

Key Activities

  • Perform risk assessments of suppliers and other third parties to ensure compliance with Mastercard's standards.
  • Develop and maintain a working understanding of Mastercard's products, services, and activities, as well as third-party risk management principles and practices.
  • Collaborate with business requestors, Sourcing or Legal team members, and other TPRM team members to ensure a thorough understanding of engagements and associated risks.
  • Evaluate requests for new or modified third-party engagements and prioritize based on various risk factors.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • A demonstrated ability to apply a risk-based mindset, continuously identifying and prioritizing areas of significant concern.
  • Proficiency in risk management frameworks and processes, with a preference for experience in the financial services industry and payment processing.
  • Prior experience in risk-related disciplines, such as information security, data privacy, business continuity, or vendor due diligence is essential.
  • A proven understanding and operational knowledge of GRC tools, including the ability to navigate, update, and perform data entry tasks.
