About the Job

The Department of Biotechnology and Biomedicine at the Technical University of Denmark invites applications for an 18-month postdoc position. The role is to conduct pioneering research within lung-to-brain immunology, specifically focusing on mast cell regulation in the lung and at the brain borders.

Job Description

  • Develop, optimize, and test models for tissue-specific immune cell characterization.
  • Design and execute single cell and high-dimensional flow cytometry experiments.
  • Acknowledge behavior in allergic asthma in vivo models.
  • Maintain genetically modified in vivo models.
  • Conduct independent research and publish findings of high international quality.
  • Contribute to student supervision and collaborative projects.
  • Present findings at scientific conferences and in scientific publications.

About the Project

The project aims to determine the role for brain border mast cells and histamine in the symptoms of brain fog in airway allergy and asthma. As a postdoc, you will work closely with another postdoc, MSc students, and lab technicians in a highly driven and cross-functional research team.
