Data Centre Installation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Centre Installation Specialist to join our team at ATC Computer Transport & Logistics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering, positioning, and installing server racks to build our clients' cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre operations, logistics, or construction, with experience in working with hand and power tools, and a valid class B driving licence. You will also have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Attend clients' sites on time, with all required equipment, uniform, procedures, and documentation.
- Unload, unpack, and position customers' IT hardware (server racks).
- Lift up to 30-40 kg, with occasional exertion up to 50kg (using safe lifting methods).
- Cable server racks by patching and dressing fibre and copper cables (in certain regions, and training will be provided).
- Provide industry-leading customer service levels by acting professionally with clients and colleagues at all times.
- Follow clients' procedures and requirements, including health and safety, and security.
- Communicate with colleagues, including managers, planners, team leaders, and supervisors, in a consistent, timely, and efficient manner.
- Complete daily checklists and provide reports on daily activities or tasks, including other general administration tasks.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail.
- Valid class B driving licence with a good driving record.
- Basic experience with hand and power tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Email.
- Language proficiency: B1 level in English and A2 level in the country of employment.
