Data Centre ICT Infrastructure Migration Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Centre ICT Infrastructure Migration Specialist to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark, on a temporary basis for 18-24 months, with the possibility of a contract extension.

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the migration of ICT infrastructure and operations into our new Co-Location Data Centre in Copenhagen. Key responsibilities include:

  • Procurement of Racks, PDU's, Cold-Isle Containments, Power Whips, and Cable Trays
  • Coordinating the installation of all the above with various suppliers and contractors
  • Designing and implementing a structured cabling environment
  • Ensuring correct power installation and availability to Racks, as per design
  • Preparing new storage rooms, including emergency cables and supplies
  • Managing new and ongoing security access with suppliers
  • Setting up new office areas at the new site
  • Receiving and analyzing work requests for all migrations
  • Coordinating migrations with suppliers and customers
  • Submitting SNOW tickets and representing changes at the CAB
  • Planning the placement of Racks and devices within Racks
  • Coordinating installation with contractors and suppliers
  • Managing cable procurement and receiving cables
  • Performing pre-installation checks and ensuring correct capacity
  • Implementing work quality management and being available for after-hours coordination
  • Initiating escorting processes and managing supplier access
  • Performing ongoing operational support work at the new and existing sites
  • Removing sensitive data from equipment and coordinating site cleanup
